Phonak is the flagship brand of Sonova Holding, an umbrella company for the world’s leading manufacturers of hearing and wireless systems – from mini hearing aids to inner-ear implants. Phonak’s highly sophisticated hearing aids also set the technological bar all round the world.

The challenge

We created Phonak’s unmistakable corporate identity back in 1998, emphasising the high technological standards of the brand. In barely ten years, Phonak had become a giant global company – a transformation crying out for a repositioning of the brand and the introduction of a new corporate design.

The solution

In the course of the redesign in 2007, we incorporated Phonak’s slogan “Life is on” into the new logo. This positive statement lends the brand emotional impact, character and memorability.
