Markus Gut to become co-owner and CEO of Process

With effect from 1 January 2018, the former CCO of Y&R Group will be taking over as Managing Director, Zurich, and will become a partner in Process Group.

With branches in Zurich, Shanghai and Taipei, Process Group is one of Switzerland’s leading – and largest – owner-managed branding agencies. Process specialises in digital branding and its services cover the entire brand life cycle.

Speaking about his new role, Markus Gut notes: «In today’s digital age, clear and distinctive brand positioning is more important than ever. Branding is the foundation on which all marketing efforts are built, so it’s critical to a company’s success. After my sabbatical, I’m really looking forward to taking up a new, hands-on role as an entrepreneur in the branding sphere.»

Founded by Martin Kessler and Bärbel Fritz in 1995, Process now has three branches – the parent company in Zurich and subsidiaries in the boomtowns of Shanghai and Taipei. Some 45 consultants, designers and digital specialists advise on all aspects of strategic brand positioning, creating holistic, cross-media design concepts for clients as diverse as BKW, Migros, Credit Suisse, AEG, Edelweiss Air, Thermos, KKL Luzern and Marché Mövenpick.

Effective 1 January 2018, Markus Gut will be joining Bärbel Fritz, Fabian Bertschinger and Martin Fawer on the Executive Board of Process in Zurich.
